Ecuador, South America

Ecuador, South America

My 6th country in South America and 50th country in the world, Ecuador is a paradise for those who love nature. With its mystical beauty, snow-capped peaks along the avenue of volcanoes (some are still active) spread across the country, countless waterfalls in Banos, second highest capital city in the world, hugging clouds, rolling hills, cows and sheep grazing the slopes of the mountains. With the exception of Ireland, Ecuador has to be the greenest countries I have ever visited in my life. It seems almost everything is painted in green. This planet continues to amaze me. How to plan Cherry blossoms trip in Japan

When did this tradition originate and how did it become a popular activity among both the locals and tourists? I have always wanted to witness the “Hanami” in person and use that as a reason to travel across Japan. It was almost early March when I finished my rather long backpacking adventure across South East Asia. I was taking a break in India for a few weeks. The northern…

Along the Mediterranean – Travel Itinerary

Along the Mediterranean – Travel Itinerary

The plan is to backpack across a bunch of countries along the Mediterranean coast. I planned to start my travels in Turkey and then move on to Greece and then to Egypt (my first time in Africa!), Israel, Palestine and Jordan. My original plan was to go to Turkey and Morocco and then move on to South East Asia. But since I am already there in that part of the world, I might as well see more countries along the beautiful coast. Egypt -> Israel -> Jordan Days traveled = 30 days Kms traveled = 2500
